Learning From My Gambling Mistakes

I have been betting on the internet or at brick and mortar gambling dens for many years. I have been taught, the habit can acquire a hold of you and you will not even notice it up till you are bankrupt. Especially if you are on a run. I have been through uncounted tens of thousands of clams in just a little period of time and even today, I sometimes go a bit too far. It appears you are just enjoying yourself until you make a decision to consider your loss and the guilt settles in, and then you keep advising yourself "I will be able to earn it back" ad infinitum. It never works. Then you feel sick to your gut and the more you try the faster you give away.

When you observe that you are in the black, STAY Ahead! When you begin to throw away, do not tell yourself, "well only 1 more" over and over again, believe me, this tactic RARELY ever works. Say you plan on wagering on slot machines, have an amount separate ahead of beginning your betting. DON’T exceed this threshold, no matter how appealing. If you happen to earn, put the winnings in a separate pot. Do not wager your earnings no matter what. After you have played through your beginning set limit, stop. Call it quits, regardless if it is on the net or at a brick and mortar casino, don’t stay around. At all times keep in mind, there certainly is other days, other times. Obviously, this tactic usually will work for any game that you bet on, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, 21 or any other casino game.

Remember, gaming should be delightful not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If you cannot manage the losses, do not even start.
