Do Not Drink … Gamble!
If you enjoy having a a drink every now and then, keep your cash at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and leave all money, plastic credit and checkbooks out of the casino. Pack whatever cash you expect to use on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to squander and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You may well have a profit after a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hit a long roll at a hot craps game. Hang on to that adventure because it is as brief as it gets if you consistently drink alcohol and bet. The two simply do not go well together.
Keeping your cash out of the casino might be a bit excessive, but defensive measures for excessive actions is a requirement. If you bet to win, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to burn your money nary a concern, then consume all the free booze your stomach can handle, but don’t pack plastic credit and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunken brain throws away every little thing!
Permit me to carry this 1 step more. do not consume alcohol and then go online to gamble in your best-liked internet casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the comfort of my apartment, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.
What’s the reason? Even though I do not drink a lot, once I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely enough to blur my common sense. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both make for a decimating, and costly, cocktail.
